Bryson DeChambeau and the Amish crew of Anthony, JD and Davey signed for a 45 (−25) at Honeybrook Golf Club, the lowest round in series history and three shots better than the previous mark of 48. DeChambeau drove the fringe at the 290-yard 6th and holed a 60-foot eagle putt, and Davey holed out from 22 feet off the fairway for another eagle at the 9th to close a front nine of 23. The only par of the day came at the 139-yard 10th, and the group played the eight holes after it in 13 under for a back nine of 22. JD's 24-foot eagle putt at the 14th started three eagles in a row, and Anthony finished the card from 4 feet for eagle at the 18th after DeChambeau drove the 267-yard green.
